Salò is getting ready to host the historic 1000 Miglia car race on June 15th. Mayor Gianpiero Cipani, along with the president of Pro loco Nicola Tranquilli and the president of the Salò Promotion merchants association, Andrea Maggioni, has called on local businesses to take advantage of this promotional opportunity. The caravan of vintage cars will pass through the lakeside and the 18th-century historic center from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm, offering an international showcase for the city.
Local authorities have urged shopkeepers to keep their businesses open and decorate their shop windows with a theme to welcome the crews from around the world. This event represents an extraordinary opportunity for visibility for Salò and its landscapes, as well as a significant moment for local commerce. “We are aware of the importance of individual businesses in the success of the event,” declared Cipani, Tranquilli, and Maggioni, expressing their confidence in the collaboration of everyone to create a memorable experience for competitors and spectators.
