A 4-year-old child was hit by a car in Gardone Riviera. The incident occurred in the afternoon of April 2nd on Zanardelli Street, in front of the Grand Hotel. The child, who is of German nationality, had wandered away from his parents and was struck by a car while crossing the road.
Emergency services were immediately called and medical personnel arrived at the scene. Due to the serious injuries sustained, the child was airlifted in critical condition to Papa Giovanni Hospital in Bergamo. He has suffered head and leg injuries.
The traffic police also arrived at the scene to conduct initial investigations and reconstruct the incident.
