This morning, in Salò, several long-awaited projects were inaugurated. These include the “Playground” area next to the Montessori Elementary School, the community gardens in the Burago area, and the dog exercise area on Giuseppe Filippini Street.
The “Playground” area, developed by the local administration, is located near the municipal swimming pools managed by Canottieri and the training field of Feralpisalò. This new multifunctional space features a 3-on-3 basketball court and a standard 5-on-5 court, with removable basketball hoops that can also be used as tennis courts. Additionally, the area includes spaces for calisthenics (bodyweight fitness), skateboarding, a concrete table for ping pong, and two tables that can be used not only for children’s snacks but also for chess. LED lighting will automatically adjust the lighting time, and the entire area will be monitored by three cameras connected to the local police station.
In addition to the Playground, the community gardens in the Burago area were also inaugurated. This project allows citizens to cultivate their own vegetables in specially equipped spaces, promoting sharing and social inclusion.
Lastly, the dog exercise area on Giuseppe Filippini Street has been completed. This dedicated space for our four-legged friends provides a safe and suitable place for them to run and play freely.
