Yesterday, Sunday, April 21, an accident occurred at the paper mills in Riva del Garda. A 40-year-old worker was involved in the incident, which could have had much more serious consequences.
The man was working with a machine in the company around 9 a.m. when his arm got caught in the rollers of the equipment. His colleagues immediately called for help, and the emergency responders on site provided initial care to the worker before transporting him by helicopter to the Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento.
The firefighters were called in to support the rescue operations, while law enforcement authorities investigated the dynamics of the incident.
Fortunately, according to the information available so far, the worker is not in life-threatening condition. However, this incident once again highlights the importance of workplace safety and the need to take all necessary precautions to prevent similar accidents.
