A new addition to the Trail Running scene on Lake Garda is announced: the debut of the “Muscotrail”. This is a 12 km trail running race that winds through the beautiful hills of Muscoline. Organized by Running Muscoline, the event will take place on May 1, 2024.
The Muscotrail presents itself as a challenging competition, with a hilly course characterized by 300 meters of elevation gain on dirt and technical terrain, just as the specialty requires. These features will make the participants’ experience unique and unforgettable.
The race will have two types of awards: one for FIDAL categories and one for LIBERTAS affiliated athletes. Since its debut, the Muscotrail will be valid as the first Interregional Championship of trail running for LIBERTAS.
Registrations are open online on the website wedosport.com until the maximum number of 300 participants is reached. In addition, on the day of the race, an additional 100 bibs will be available.
For nature lovers who prefer walking, there will also be a non-competitive walk on both the main 12 km route and a shorter 6 km route.
Participants are required to meet at 7:30 am at the sports center of the S. Maria Assunta parish in Muscoline, with the single start scheduled for 9:30 am.
