From Sunday 5th to Wednesday 8th May, an important pavement reconstruction work is scheduled for Via Marconi in Sirmione. The works will involve the final stretch of the road, from the entrance of the residents’ parking to Largo Goethe.
To minimize disruptions to traffic and residents, the works will be carried out during the nighttime, specifically from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This choice will allow for the utilization of the least busy hours of the day and will enable the resumption of normal activities during the day.
The decision to carry out the works during the night was made to avoid traffic slowdowns and to limit the inconvenience for residents and businesses along the affected road. During these hours, traffic is significantly reduced, which will allow the workers to operate more efficiently and effectively.
The resurfacing works are expected to be completed by 6:00 AM on Wednesday, 8th May. Thanks to the use of modern machinery and careful organization of the works, it is anticipated that the pavement reconstruction can be completed within the scheduled time.
Access to the Historic Center of Sirmione will always be guaranteed for emergency vehicles, vehicles, and pedestrians, despite the ongoing works. However, delays may occur due to traffic regulation operations.
Residents will have access to the dedicated parking area throughout the duration of the works. All necessary measures will be implemented to facilitate the access and circulation of residents’ vehicles.
During the execution of the works, there will be a presence to regulate the passage of vehicles and pedestrians along Via Marconi. This measure has been adopted to ensure the safety of all those who will need to transit through the area affected by the works.
