Angela Soncina from Bedizzole celebrated her 108th birthday on June 1, 2024, becoming one of the oldest people in the province of Brescia. Born in 1916, Angela has lived through significant historical periods and overcome personal challenges, such as the loss of her father during the Spanish flu. She worked in cotton mills and managed a gas station from the 1960s to the 1980s, showing remarkable resilience and tenacity.
Her life has been characterized by great strength of spirit and determination, qualities emphasized by her niece Federica. Angela attributes part of her well-being to her habit of consuming seventeen candies and a fruit juice every night. The centenarian has also emerged unscathed from the Covid-19 pandemic, continuing to live surrounded by the love of her family. The community wishes her many more happy and healthy years.
