Yesterday, June 3, 2024, in Gargnano, the expropriation for public use of a private area belonging to the Lago di Garda Society, currently in liquidation, was initiated. The aim of the expropriation is the redevelopment of the area through the creation of a new parking lot at the entrance of the town. Mayor Giovanni Albini symbolically opened the gates of the area, allowing municipal employees to begin the site improvement works.
The area in question measures approximately 1600 square meters and is strategically located at the entrance of the town. Once the project is completed, the space will accommodate around thirty parking spaces and will be accessible from the adjacent underground parking lot with sixty spaces built beneath the bus station. This intervention aims to improve the accessibility and usability of the city center for residents and visitors.
