On the weekend of June 10, 2024, Campione di Tremosine hosted the second stage of the Italian Kiteboarding and Wingfoil Championship, known as the Porsche On-Board Wingfoil & Formula Kite. The event, held at Univela in Campione, saw the victory of Flavio Marx from the Surf Club Torbole and José Tomasi from the Fraglia Vela in Riva del Garda. The two main disciplines of the competition, Kitefoil and Wingfoil Racing, attracted some of the best national and international athletes.
The event showcased the skill and technique of the competing athletes, with variable weather conditions that tested their abilities. Flavio Marx stood out among the competitors in Kitefoil, while Alessandro José Tomasi dominated the Wingfoil Racing class, winning several consecutive races. This event not only showcased the talent of local athletes but also emphasized the growing importance of new water sports disciplines in the national sports scene.
