On Saturday, June 22nd, and Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, Sirmione will host Swimtheisland, one of the most prestigious open water swimming races on Lake Garda. The event will offer various competitions suitable for swimmers of all levels, starting from the picturesque Giamaica Beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag.
The event will kick off on Saturday, June 22nd, at 8:30 PM with the Sunset Swim from Giamaica Beach to Piazza dei Catari. On Sunday, June 23rd, at 10:30 AM, the main race, covering a distance of 3200 meters, will start from Piazza Flaminia and finish at Muse Beach.

The areas affected will be limited to the Historic Center of Sirmione. The race village will be set up at Muse Beach, with the athlete accreditation point on Via San Salvatore, without significant changes to traffic or parking.
