A chain collision caused heavy traffic on the SR11 ring road between Peschiera and Sirmione this afternoon, June 17, 2024. The accident occurred around 4 p.m. on the overpass above via Rovizza Vecchia and involved four cars heading towards Peschiera del Garda. Two people were slightly injured, with one of them being transported to Desenzano hospital for further examination.
The local police of Peschiera intervened to carry out the necessary investigations and manage the traffic, which experienced long queues and delays for over two hours until the removal of the vehicles involved. This stretch of road has already been the scene of a serious accident at the end of May, when a head-on collision between two trucks resulted in the death of the drivers.
