A serious accident took place this morning in Gozzolina, in the municipality of Castiglione delle Stiviere, involving a middle-aged man during his work shift.
The incident occurred around 10:30 am on Via Medole, near a roundabout. The man was working on the road to paint the lines on the asphalt and manage traffic when he was hit by a small truck that was maneuvering.
Emergency services were immediately alerted with a red code, mobilizing rescuers and the municipal police to assess the worker’s condition. Due to the severity of the accident, the intervention of the helicopter rescue team was necessary.
The injured worker was urgently transported to the Civil Hospital of Brescia in a yellow code. Despite the injuries sustained, the man reportedly arrived at the hospital conscious and in non-serious condition.
