The closure, which began at 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 23rd, affects the segment between Via Del Seminario and Via Renzano, in an area located uphill from the town of Salò. The order specifies that the traffic closure extends from kilometer 68+750 to kilometer 69+400.
The measure was taken to ensure public safety. Anas has stated that there is a moving front of about forty meters in the landslide area that requires urgent safety interventions.
The closure of the Gardesana is causing significant disruptions to local mobility. Vehicle traffic is being redirected through the local roads of the Municipality of Salò. Local authorities are working to minimize the inconveniences resulting from the emergency situation.
