A landslide has disrupted traffic on the Gardesana road between Via Seminario and the intersection with the road leading to the Renzano district in Salò, causing significant inconvenience for local traffic. The event occurred on Sunday evening at 8 pm, and since then vehicles coming from the north of the lake and from Tormini have been forced to pass through the town center of Salò, creating long queues and significant delays.
Tomorrow morning, June 27th, geologists from Anas will conduct an inspection together with the mayor and local technicians to assess the situation and decide on the reopening of the road section. Mayor Francesco Cagnini stated that Anas plans to reopen the road by Friday at 6 pm. In the meantime, local authorities, including the Local Police, Civil Protection, and numerous volunteers, are working tirelessly to minimize the inconvenience caused by the landslide.
