On Sunday, July 14th, as part of the “Museum in the City” series, the Mag is organizing a guided tour of the former convent of Santa Maria Inviolata. The meeting is scheduled for 10:20 am at the Riva del Garda Museum.
Located in the heart of Riva del Garda, this monumental complex is an important historical and artistic testimony. The visit will begin with a brief introduction to the museum, where participants can admire the section dedicated to the Church of Inviolata.
After the museum introduction, the group will move towards the former convent, immersing themselves in its fascinating history and observing its splendid architecture up close. One of the highlights will be the exploration of the cloister, which extends over two levels: ground floor and upper floor.
Recent restoration work has allowed for the recovery and enhancement of precious decorations that further enrich this suggestive place, making the visit a unique experience for history and art enthusiasts.
