The inter-municipal youth center Cantiere 26 in Riva del Garda has inaugurated a new weekly event, the Friday aperitif, which will take place on July 12th. This event has been designed to offer a mix of cultural content, music, and socialization, marking the reopening of the center after a long period of closure.
The initiative will take place from 6 pm to 10 pm on the outdoor veranda of the Center, with the possibility of moving inside to the bar area in case of bad weather. The event represents a platform for young people in the local community to meet and share moments of creativity.
Starting from 6 pm, it will be possible to have a dialogue with Juta, the author of the popular comic “Gatto Pernucci”. This imaginary character has won many hearts and has become the protagonist on various gadgets such as t-shirts, bags, and accessories. The comic, published by Coconino Press, explores themes related to consumerism through retrospective events that lead to the death of the beloved Gatto Pernucci. During the evening, Juta will sign copies of his work and create personalized drawings on the copies purchased by the participants.
The evening will continue with a DJ set by DJ Maia, a young local talent who found a way of expression in DJing during the difficult months of the lockdown. With a musical style ranging from ghetto tech/house to urban ghetto, Maia promises to make the audience dance in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The event not only celebrates the reopening of Cantiere 26 but also aims to consolidate its role as a meeting point for young people in the area.
