To address the shortage of parking spaces for residents and businesses in the historic center of Bardolino, the municipal administration has decided to use the courtyard of the “Falcone Borsellino” school as a temporary parking area during the summer and Christmas holidays.
The initiative stems from the need to provide practical solutions for those who do not have a parking space. The middle school, located on Viale Dante Alighieri, will make a portion of its courtyard available from July 19th to September 8th and from December 23rd to January 6th, 2025.
During these periods, a section of the courtyard will be cordoned off and reserved exclusively for residents and businesses in the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) without a parking space. To use the parking area, it will be necessary to display a valid permit issued by the Bardolino Local Police. The permit must clearly state “RESIDENT WITHOUT PARKING SPACE” or “BUSINESS OWNER WITHOUT PARKING SPACE”.
Failure to display the authorization will result in severe penalties. In particular, the provisions of Article 7, paragraph 14 of the Highway Code will be enforced, which may also include the forced removal of the vehicle.
