In Rivoltella di Desenzano, a new healthcare facility, the Genesaret Community Hospital, was inaugurated on August 1st, managed by the Raphaël cooperative. This long-term care service offers 20 accredited beds under the National Health Service, intended for fragile patients recently discharged from hospitals who are awaiting clinical stabilization. After years of waiting since the laying of the foundation stone in 2006, this structure marks an important milestone for the cooperative, which is celebrating its fortieth year of operation.
The Genesaret Community Hospital aims to support subacute patients who are not yet ready to return home or who do not have access to home care. The presence of the religious sisters from the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Incarnate Word also provides spiritual support to the patients. With this initiative, the Raphaël cooperative addresses a significant need in the area, reinforcing its commitment to the care and rehabilitation of patients.
