A serious fatal accident occurred this morning, July 24, in Castelletto di Brenzone, along the Gardesana. S.J., a 58-year-old man from the Czech Republic, lost his life after crashing his scooter into the gate of the Taki hotel, located on SS249.
The incident took place around noon, and the causes are currently under investigation. Despite the immediate response from emergency services, including an ambulance and a 118 helicopter, there was nothing that could be done for the man.
