On July 23, 2024, in the Gulf of Salò, the new patrol boat of the Provincial Police was unveiled, a nautical unit designed to enhance navigation control and provide assistance in emergency situations on Lake Garda. The vessel, named “850 Pro Cabin,” can carry up to 14 people and achieve a maximum speed of 45 knots, thanks to its two 200 hp Mercury engines.
This new acquisition is part of the Province’s commitment to ensuring greater safety in the waters of the lake, which is particularly frequented by tourists. The President of the Province, Emanuele Moraschini, emphasized the importance of synergy among the forces engaged in monitoring the lake, highlighting how the new vessel represents a significant step towards strengthening control and rescue operations in the area.
