Milan, July 25, 2024 – ASST Garda will receive significant financial support following the approval of a Motion as part of the budget adjustment for the period 2024-2026 by the Lombardy Region. The initiative, promoted by regional councilor from the League, **Floriano Massardi**, has garnered support from center-right forces.
Investments for the Healthcare Structure
The measure allocates **€2,063,600** for the enhancement of healthcare facilities located in the municipalities of Desenzano, Gavardo, Leno, and Manerbio. These funds will be used for the purchase of new medical equipment and furnishings, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic tools necessary to improve the quality of services offered by ASST Garda.
Massardi emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that “the approval of the Motion represents a crucial step in financing the acquisition of equipment requested by ASST.” He highlighted how such investments could act as a driving force for innovation in the Lombardy healthcare sector, which is already regarded as a national model of excellence.
A Boost for Regional Welfare
According to Massardi, the new funds will not only enhance existing healthcare services but will also contribute to strengthening local welfare. “Thanks to the Fontana administration, we are providing new momentum in terms of welfare for citizens and the territory,” declared the regional councilor.
