A hike on Mount Baldo turned into a tragedy for a group of hikers, culminating in the tragic death of 41-year-old Silvia Brasioli, a woman from Verona. The outing, which included the victim’s husband, a couple of friends, and two children, took an unexpected turn while they were traversing trail number 658, which connects the Telegrafo and Chierego huts.
The fatal incident occurred when Silvia slipped, falling over **two hundred meters**. The accident took place around 6:15 PM, immediately triggering rescue operations. Responders from the **Verona Alpine Rescue** team were dispatched, supported by emergency medical personnel from Verona Emergenza and Carabinieri from the Caprino Veronese station.
