Campione del Garda, August 16, 2024 – The era of Coopsette in Campione del Garda comes to an end, as the court in Reggio Emilia has approved the proposed arrangement for a preventive agreement presented by Europa Investimenti Spa. This agreement entails an investment of 58 million euros to repay creditors, ensuring full payment to secured creditors and only partial payment to unsecured creditors. This decision marks a significant turning point for the redevelopment of the real estate area that has remained unfinished since 2015, the year Coopsette was placed into compulsory administrative liquidation.
The mayor of Tremosine, Battista Girardi, welcomed the news, emphasizing the positive prospects for the district thanks to the new ownership of the area south of the San Michele stream. With the imminent approval of the general variation to the Territorial Government Plan (Pgt), a new urban planning framework is expected that will respect and protect the local identity. Oversight and execution of the arrangement will be entrusted to the liquidator commissioner Gianluca Giorgi.
