Starting from August 21, Sirmione has launched an important initiative for its community: the Wednesday farmers’ market has found a new location in Piazza Campiello, in the Colombare district. This strategic choice has proven effective, as the square offers a larger and more accessible space, catering to the needs of both residents and tourists.
A New Space for Local Products
The new venue has already shown to be well-received by all who have visited the stalls. Local producers offer a variety of fresh and genuine products, helping to promote the region’s agriculture. Starting next week, the market will be further enriched with the addition of new stands. There will be farms specializing in the production of bread, honey, goat cheese, and many other local specialties.
An Event Not to Be Missed
The farmers’ market aims to be not only a place for shopping but also a gathering point for the community. Indeed, on August 28, the market will be enlivened by various initiatives. From 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, visitors will receive free cotton bags and slices of watermelon, while folk music will enhance the festive atmosphere of the event.
