A 68-year-old German tourist has been admitted in critical condition to the Civil Hospital of Brescia following an accident that occurred in San Felice del Benaco. On Sunday morning, shortly after 7:30 AM, the woman lost her balance while on the lakeshore and struck her head against a rock, losing consciousness.
Rescue operations were prompt: the emergency number 112 dispatched an ambulance, a medical car, and a helicopter rescue team. The carabinieri and the coast guard also responded to the scene. Fortunately, according to the latest information, the tourist is not in life-threatening condition.
