In Gavardo, three employees and the owner of a company from the Lodi area have been reported by the Public Prosecutor’s Office for illegal waste disposal in green areas. Investigations conducted by the Local Police of the Valle Sabbia revealed that these individuals were discarding inappropriate materials, such as spoiled food and appliances, in the fields and bushes near a supermarket, instead of reporting the situation to the relevant authorities.
The investigative operations were initiated following numerous reports from citizens. Thanks to the use of surveillance cameras and other investigative methods, the culprits were identified. One of them was even caught on camera engaging in public indecency, receiving a monetary fine ranging from €5,000 to €10,000 in addition to the criminal charges for waste disposal.
