Toscolano Maderno, October 19, 2024 – A tragic accident occurred today in the Folino Cabiana area, where an 82-year-old man, Giacomo Usardi, was crushed by his tractor. The man was performing maintenance work on his property in preparation for the olive harvest when the agricultural vehicle overturned due to the wet ground.
Despite the prompt intervention of the volunteers from the Garda Group and the air rescue team, the injuries sustained by the 82-year-old proved fatal, and Usardi died at the scene. Firefighters were also called to the site to free the body from the tractor, and the carabinieri were present to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident. The body was later entrusted to the family.
