The Garda Optimist Meeting is enhanced by the Sprint Cup, a new regatta set to take place from April 12 to 13, 2025, prior to the main event scheduled for April 17 to 20. The Sprint Cup will feature a knockout format, making the experience more engaging for both participants and spectators. This event will precede the Country Cup, now in its eleventh edition, which will involve representatives from various nations in a series of competitive races.
The opening ceremony of the 43rd Garda Optimist Meeting will see over a thousand participants parade towards the town square of Riva del Garda on April 16. The first races will commence the following day and culminate in an awards ceremony on Easter Sunday at the PalaVela. The event will also include a Regatta Village with stands from leading companies in the sector and a lottery featuring significant prizes for young participants.
