A robbery attempt took place on Saturday evening at the Rivalta Hotel in Salò, when a couple of would-be robbers threatened the receptionist with a gun in an effort to obtain cash. However, thanks to the employee’s cool-headedness, who managed to stay calm and buy some time, the two assailants abandoned their intentions and fled the scene.
The incident occurred around 8:00 PM. Hotel staff immediately contacted the carabinieri, who are now reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspects. According to witnesses, the couple spoke with a Brescia accent and wore hoods and a hat to conceal their identities; it is also suspected that they may be the same individuals involved in a similar incident that occurred a few weeks ago.
