A grand celebration took place in Gardone Riviera for the 70th birthday of Roberto Marai, president of Desenzano, featuring a surprise appearance by former footballer Giorgio Chiellini. During the event, held on Thursday evening at Villa Alba, Chiellini presented Marai with a personalized Juventus jersey signed by all the players, evoking great emotion among the over 470 guests, which included Honorable Maria Elena Boschi.
The evening was enlivened by performances from well-known artists such as Ale & Franz and Edoardo Vianello, along with a concert by accordionist Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi and guitarist Stef Burns. Marai expressed his desire to see Desenzano promoted to Serie C, emphasizing how important this team has become to him. The celebration concluded with a buffet rich in culinary specialties, and plans are already in place to celebrate again in 2029.
