On the evening of Saturday, November 2, a family residing in Riva del Garda experienced a moment of great concern due to a car breakdown that occurred in a tunnel along the Gardesana Occidentale 45bis, between Tremosine and Limone. The incident happened around 9:30 PM when the vehicle stalled near a curve, creating a potential risk for both the occupants and passing motorists. Fortunately, another family on vacation from Turin noticed the situation and promptly stopped to offer assistance.
Thanks to the solidarity of the tourists and the timely call for help made through the emergency number 112, the Fire Brigade and Carabinieri arrived to secure the area and ensure the safety of the car’s occupants. Once the rescue operations were completed and while waiting for the tow truck to arrive, the family from Turin extended an additional gesture of kindness by giving the stranded Riva del Garda residents a ride home.
