A significant step forward for the Riva del Garda Congress Center has been announced with the allocation of an additional 13 million euros, part of the 2025-27 budget maneuver. The informational meeting, held by President Maurizio Fugatti and Provincial Councillor Simone Marchiori, also saw the participation of Mayor Cristina Santi and other institutional representatives. These funds will be used to continue the construction of the theater attached to the congress center, a project that has faced delays due to technical complexities and the impact of the pandemic.
Engineer Mauro Groff provided details on the new Congress Hall, confirming that the work is expected to be completed by mid-2026, while an initial phase of the project has already been finished, including the opening of a new parking lot with over 200 spaces. The project also includes the creation of a new hall capable of accommodating approximately 1,200 people, along with an underground space dedicated to dinners and exhibitions. Local authorities expressed satisfaction with the project’s progress, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among the various administrations involved.
