The construction of two new sections of the bike path connecting the Limniadi to the Titans has officially begun, marking a strategic project for Riva del Garda and the promotion of sustainable mobility. The inauguration ceremony took place in Riva del Garda, attended by the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, along with Deputy Mayor Silvia Betta and representatives from the Alto Garda and Ledro Community. The project encompasses a total extension of 1,300 meters along the western shore, with a total investment of approximately 8 million euros.
The two functional units include a 700-meter stretch from the Limniadi tunnel to the Pier hotel, and a 600-meter section from the Gola area to the entrance of the Titans tunnel. During the event, the importance of modifications made to the original project was emphasized, aimed at reducing environmental impact and ensuring less anthropization of the area. The new bike path will provide a safe space for cyclists, thereby enhancing tourism in the region and encouraging more sustainable lifestyles among visitors and local residents.
