On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Sorgente, the fashion show “If on a Winter’s Night a Traveler” will take place, marking the first event of the Sartoria Sociale di Sorgente, on November 24 at 4:30 PM at the Sala Domus in Santa Maria La Pieve di Salò. This event represents a significant moment for the women involved, who have worked together under the guidance of designer Betta Fabbri and pattern maker Ombretta Stramaccioni, creating clothing using various innovative materials. The garments will not be modeled by professional models, but by individuals connected to the cooperative, reflecting both personal and collective stories.
With the sponsorship of the Municipality of Salò and in collaboration with the Maddalina Association, the event aims to stimulate conversations on complex issues concerning women’s lives. During the fashion show, each participant will have the opportunity to interpret the garments worn according to their personal experiences, thereby transforming a simple event into an interactive and meaningful experience. Additionally, the team from Maison Cò will offer complimentary makeup and hairstyling services to all participants.
