An important initiative for energy efficiency has been launched for the Zinelli-Perdoni Early Childhood Center in Padenghe, thanks to the crowdfunding campaign “Let’s Ignite Common Sense,” which raised 20,000 euros aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the facility. Last week, during a dedicated event, the Municipal Administration, represented by Social Services Councillor Daniela Parolari and Education Delegate Councillor Annamaria Rossi, welcomed contributions from various local entities, including BCC del Garda and the Lyons Club Colli Morenici. President Angela Persavalli emphasized the importance of the school as a cornerstone for the educational community.
The project includes the replacement of lighting systems with LED technology and the preparation of an Energy Diagnosis Document in collaboration with Garda Uno. These interventions will not only enhance the lighting and environmental comfort for the 140 children attending the facility, but will also help reduce energy costs through the future installation of solar panels on the building’s roof. This initiative is part of a broader context aimed at integrating the school into the new Renewable Energy Community formed by neighboring municipalities, freeing up resources to reinvest in the educational services offered to families in the area.
