In Esenta di Lonato, a group of youngsters is at the center of several episodes of vandalism, which have raised concerns within the local community. The cemetery and road signage have been damaged, with ornaments and decorations destroyed within the burial ground. A particularly serious incident occurred on November 23, during a mass dedicated to St. Tarcisius, a former administrator of the Tisi Bresciani kindergarten, when some members of the youth gang entered the church and shouted blasphemies upon leaving.
In response to these acts of vandalism, city councilor Alberto Breda attended a meeting with the commander of the Carabinieri in Lonato, Antonio Mittica. During the meeting, Mittica promised stricter territorial control, emphasizing the lack of support from the parents of the involved youths. Currently, the parish priest of the area is absent due to illness and is being temporarily replaced.
