The Bus and Go service, a public transport on-demand system, will also be operational in December in the municipalities of Nago-Torbole, Arco, and Riva del Garda. This new service, which has already transported over 37,000 passengers from April to October, will offer rides on weekends from December 6 to 8 and December 13 to 15, as well as daily from December 20 to 31 (excluding Christmas Day), from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The cost for users is 2 euros per trip, free for those holding a Trentino Trasporti subscription or the Guest Card from Apt Garda Dolomiti.
The decision to extend the service during the holiday season was announced at a press conference on November 29 in Arco, attended by Councilor Gabriele Andreasi and Deputy Mayor Sara Balduzzi. Both emphasized that the initiative aims to encourage the use of public transport among young people and tourists, especially during the Christmas markets. Councilor Andreasi also stated that the goal is to collect useful data to further improve the service in the future, while the president of Apt, Silvio Rigatti, highlighted the importance of the project as a model to be replicated in other areas of Trentino.
