A man has been reported for improper theft after attempting to steal food products from a supermarket in Gavardo. The incident occurred when the individual, assisted by an accomplice who distracted the staff, filled a bag with goods and tried to escape without paying. Security personnel noticed his suspicious behavior and attempted to stop him, but the man, wearing a hood, managed to bypass the checkout and flee.
The supermarket manager chased the thief outside the store but was threatened by the man, who warned him of the consequences if he continued to pursue him. After the thief disappeared, the manager informed a nearby Local Police patrol. Thanks to the investigations initiated and the analysis of the surveillance systems, the officers were able to identify the suspect within a week of the incident; the man already had a history of theft.
