A road accident occurred in the past few hours in the Upper Garda area, specifically in Arco, where a man on a bicycle, clearly under the influence of alcohol, crossed the road without dismounting, resulting in a collision with a passing vehicle. The incident took place during the night between Saturday and Sunday, and fortunately, there were no injuries reported. Emergency services and carabinieri were on the scene to carry out the necessary investigations.
During the same night, law enforcement authorities revoked five driving licenses for driving under the influence, indicating a targeted operation to combat alcohol abuse while driving. The man involved in the accident was subjected to a breathalyzer test, revealing a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limits, and he will face an aggravated fine for causing the accident.
