Over the past weekend, the Carabinieri of the Castiglione delle Stiviere Company carried out a series of extraordinary checks in the area, on the orders and coordination of the Provincial Command of Mantova. The main objective of these operations was to prevent property crimes and drug trafficking in the most frequented areas during the evening hours.
During the checks, a total of 93 individuals were identified in 64 stopped vehicles. Despite the large number of identifications, only two traffic violations were detected. Additionally, four commercial activities were inspected, but no infractions were found.
However, one of the most significant outcomes of the checks was the report of two individuals for attempted robbery. Thanks to the prompt action of the Carabinieri, it was possible to intervene quickly and ensure the safety of the citizens.
