A truck on fire has caused significant traffic disruptions along the A4 this morning, Saturday, December 21. The incident occurred between the Peschiera and Sommacampagna toll booths around 8:30 AM, when a thick column of black smoke drew the attention of motorists. Firefighters and law enforcement quickly responded to extinguish the flames and manage the situation, but in the meantime, long queues formed, reaching up to 9 kilometers in the direction of Venice.
Currently, the area has been secured, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the incident. However, traffic continues to be heavily affected due to the delays caused by the accident.
