This initiative arose from recent investigations by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Trento, which involve institutional representatives from Riva del Garda and Arco regarding issues related to public-private urban agreements, such as the case of the former Cattoi area in Riva and the former hotel in Arco.
The Coordination has raised concerns about these agreements, highlighting their lack of significant public interest. Current developments suggest behaviors that may be incompatible with proper administrative action. The petition not only calls for the suspension of ongoing procedures but also requests that specific amendments to the General Regulatory Plan of Arco and Riva del Garda not be approved, as such decisions could set a serious precedent of mismanagement and jeopardize the quality of the territory and the democratic process.
