On Wednesday night, a fire in Lonato affected a waste storage warehouse located on Via Lavagnone. The flames broke out inside the structure, which had previously been used for filling LPG cylinders. Fortunately, a person who was working and sleeping inside managed to escape. Authorities are currently conducting investigations to determine the cause of the blaze.
Following the fire, the adjacent warehouse, which contained cylinders, was seized due to suspected illegal dumping. The Brescia firefighters from Castiglione and Salò responded to the scene with fire trucks and a ladder truck to extinguish the flames and ensure the safety of the surrounding area.
