Desenzano del Garda has recently inaugurated the new Catullo school, located near the Laghetto Park, sparking a heated debate regarding the school traffic generated during student arrival and dismissal times. The council group of the League responded to the criticisms, highlighting that it is normal to encounter initial difficulties related to traffic but assuring that the situation will improve over time with the appropriate adjustments. They also reminded that similar issues had already occurred with the previous school structure and that the Local Police are actively engaged in monitoring to optimize vehicle flows.
Regarding the new facility, the council group praised the innovative and modern features of the school, emphasizing the importance of safety and the use of cutting-edge materials. Designed to be energy-efficient, the school is situated in a context rich in educational and sporting opportunities, thanks to its proximity to swimming pools, parks, and sports facilities. Finally, the group expressed gratitude to the Mayor and the Public Works Councillor for their commitment to the project’s realization, describing it as an example of collaboration between institutions for the benefit of the community.
