Confindustria Lombardia: Giuseppe Pasini Elected New President Today, the Presidential Council of Confindustria Lombardia officially elected Giuseppe Pasini as the new president for the 2025-29 term. In his speech, Pasini emphasized the importance of listening to regional proposals, highlighting the crucial role of Lombardy, Italy’s leading manufacturing region, for the regional and national economy.
Giuseppe Pasini, born in Odolo (Bs) in 1961, joined the family business Feralpi Spa in 1982 and currently leads one of the largest steel producers in Europe. He has held various institutional positions and served as President of Federacciai from 2001 to 2012. During the inauguration event, outgoing president Francesco Buzzella reviewed his presidency and thanked his colleagues for their work. Among those present were Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardy Region, and Emanuele Orsini, President of Confindustria.
