Theft at a Restaurant in Montichiari: 54-Year-Old with a Criminal Record Arrested Last Tuesday, January 30, a well-organized heist took place at a restaurant in Montichiari during the lunch break of some municipal employees. Four thieves executed a precise plan, but one of them was apprehended thanks to the quick actions of the waitstaff at the Faro restaurant. While two members of the gang sat close to the employees to avoid raising suspicion, the other two positioned themselves strategically: one was ready to flee in a car, while the other acted as a “lookout” outside.
The criminal act was interrupted when one of the thieves snatched a bag from an employee, but the waitstaff, suspicious of the unusual movements, intervened promptly, managing to detain the 54-year-old Cuban with a criminal record while waiting for the carabinieri to arrive. The other three accomplices managed to escape with the loot, and investigations are currently underway to track them down and identify the members of the gang.
