President Fugatti recently unveiled an ambitious public works plan valued at approximately 390 million euros, aimed at the community of Alto Garda and Ledro. During a meeting with representatives from Confcommercio in Riva del Garda, the details of the projects were outlined, covering various sectors, from school construction—with nearly 31 million euros allocated to the Maffei High School—to significant environmental interventions such as the remediation of the Maza landfill. Additionally, a substantial allocation of funds is earmarked for roadworks and cycling paths.
Specifically, around 84.5 million euros will be invested in the development of the Garda cycling paths, with the cycling route project being a central element of the initiative. Work on the Garda Cycle Path in the Trentino section is ongoing, and the first segment from the Panda tunnel to the Sperone beach is expected to be completed in the spring. Other ongoing projects include maintenance of local technical institutes and the completion of works at the CFP Enaip in Varone, Riva del Garda.
