A meeting dedicated to youth policies will take place on Wednesday, February 5, at the inter-municipal youth center Cantiere 26 in Arco, starting at 8:30 PM. The event, organized by the Smart cooperative, will address the crucial issue of what housing options young people can find in Alto Garda and the difficulties related to finding a home in the region. Experts in the field will be present, including Domenico De Franco and Aamos Immanuel from Gardacasa, provincial councilor Paolo Zanella, and Anna Benazzoli from Officina Comune, Abitare Stanca / Attiva. During the evening, a questionnaire will also be launched to investigate the sustainability of young people’s lives in the area.
The president of the Smart cooperative, Francesco Picello, emphasized the importance of analyzing the causes of inequalities in housing access for young adults and the impact this has on their lives. Picello highlighted the need to intervene not only in favor of young people through training and social activities but also by improving the living and working environment. This meeting is the first in a series of four events aimed at gathering ideas and suggestions to build a more inclusive and sustainable Alto Garda, addressing interconnected themes such as sustainable mobility and job opportunities.
