The Winter Sailing Championship, organized by the Canottieri Garda Salò, concluded on Sunday, February 2nd. Known as the Autumn Winter Salodiano 2024-2025, the sailing races saw the boats El Moro and Wanderfun3 triumph in their respective classes, Protagonist 7.50 and Fun. In the Protagonist 7.50 class, El Moro, helmed by Enrico Sinibaldi, surpassed General Lee, with Mauro Spagnoli at the helm, while Casper, led by Lorenza Mariani, secured third place. In the Fun class, Wanderfun3, steered by Alberto Azzi, claimed victory, followed by Banana Joe and Tozzi Fun.
The newly appointed president of Canottieri Garda Salò, Nicola Benedetti, expressed satisfaction with the excellent participation in the event, which featured ten boats in the Protagonist class and nine in the Fun class. The races took place under favorable wind conditions, overseen by the Race Committee, and the championship was spread over four days: November 16 and 17, 2024, plus the concluding two days on February 1 and 2, 2025.
