Traffic disruptions in the Alto Garda area continue to affect the Gardesana Occidentale, where traffic on the state road 45 bis is currently restricted to alternating one-way flow. This measure has been implemented due to the installation of cable ducts, which are an integral part of the construction of functional unit 3.1 of the Garda Cycle Path, specifically in the section from the “Galleria delle Limniadi” to the border with Trentino and Lombardy. The alternating one-way traffic, regulated by a mobile traffic light, will remain in effect until February 21, excluding Saturdays and public holidays.
In addition to the change in traffic flow, a speed limit of 40 kilometers per hour has been imposed, along with a ban on overtaking, to ensure the safety of road users during the construction period. Motorists are encouraged to pay attention to temporary signage and to plan their journeys considering potential delays.
